Refund & Cancellation Policy
When the service begins, what happens if you cancel, and how third-party or government charges are treated.
Last updated: 30 October 2026
1. When the service begins
The service begins on [confirm: the date the ₹499 payment is received]. From that point we begin preparing your business-specific document checklist and assisting with applicable forms. This policy is intended to be fair to both the customer and the service provider, and is read together with our Terms & Conditions.
2. Cancellation before work starts
If you cancel [confirm: before the service begins / within 24 hours of the service beginning] and no checklist has been prepared and no form assistance has been carried out, the ₹499 service fee is refundable in full, less any unavoidable payment-processing charge that our payment provider deducts ([confirm amount, if any]).
3. Cancellation after work has started
Once the checklist has been prepared or form assistance has been provided, the documentation-assistance work has been performed. In that case a partial or no refund may apply, determined proportionately to the work completed and confirmed to you in writing at the time of cancellation. The proportional position is:
- [confirm: e.g. up to 25%] of the fee if the service is cancelled after the initial discussion but before the checklist is shared.
- [confirm: e.g. up to 50%] of the fee if the service is cancelled after the document checklist has been shared.
- [confirm: e.g. no refund] of the fee if forms have been completed and shared, or if a submission-ready set has been prepared.
We will always give you a written explanation of the proportion applied, based on the work actually completed, before any deduction is made.
4. Third-party and government charges
Any bank minimum balance, account-opening charge, cash handling charge, cheque book charge, transaction charge, government fee, statutory fee, stamp duty, professional fee or other third-party charge is separate from our ₹499 service fee. Where such a charge has been paid on your behalf or with our assistance, it is not refundable by us, and refunds of such charges must be claimed from the institution that collected them.
5. Situations that are not refundable
- Bank processing delays, bank queries, bank rejections or bank decisions. These are outside our control and are not a failure of our service.
- Changes in bank requirements after the checklist was prepared, where we have already performed the agreed work.
- Requests to re-do work that falls outside the agreed scope, or to prepare a second, different application. Additional work may be chargeable at [confirm: additional fee].
- Enquiries that are fraudulent, involve impersonation of a bank or an official, or attempt to obtain documents or assistance for unlawful purposes.
6. How to request a refund
- Call +91 98765 43210 or email info@trivartha.com with the subject line "Refund request" and your lead reference number (for example AS-260930-4F7C).
- State the reason for the request and the email or phone number you want the outcome sent to.
- We will confirm the outcome in writing within [confirm: 5 working days], including the amount, if any, to be refunded and the reason for any deduction.
7. Timeline and method of refund
Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within [confirm: 5–10 working days] of approval. Your bank or payment provider may take a further few working days to reflect the credit. If the original payment method is no longer available, we may request an alternative bank account in your name.
8. Complaints
If you are dissatisfied with a refund decision, contact us on info@trivartha.com quoting your lead reference number. We will respond within [confirm: 5 working days]. You may also escalate your complaint to [confirm: the relevant consumer forum / grievance officer details].
