How AccountSetu collects, uses, stores and protects the information you share through this website.

Last updated: 30 October 2026

1. Who we are

AccountSetu ("we", "us") is an independent documentation-assistance and business banking guidance service operated by Trivartha (registered legal entity: [confirm the registered legal entity name]), a business registered in India. We are not a bank, financial institution, bank employee, official bank agent or government authority unless a specific written authorisation is separately obtained and disclosed.

This policy explains what happens to information you submit through the enquiry form on this website or send to us by phone, SMS, email or WhatsApp.

2. What we collect

We collect only the information needed to respond to your enquiry:

  • Your full name and mobile number (required).
  • Your city (required).
  • Your business type (required).
  • Your email address (optional).
  • Your business name, business registration status and preferred bank (optional).
  • A short description of the help you need (optional).
  • Technical information such as the page you submitted from and your browser's user-agent string.

3. What we do not collect

We never ask for, and you should never send, Aadhaar or PAN copies, bank statements, OTPs, passwords, PINs, card details, cheque images or login credentials through this website, by email, SMS or WhatsApp. If anyone claiming to represent AccountSetu asks for these, it is not us — please report it to us immediately.

4. Why we use your information

We use enquiry information to:

  • Respond to your request and contact you about the documentation-assistance service.
  • Understand your business type and requirement so we can prepare a relevant checklist.
  • Explain the service scope, fee, and next steps.
  • Send you a lead reference number and an acknowledgement if you provided an email address.
  • Follow up about the service, in line with your consent and applicable law.
  • Maintain internal business records, prevent misuse of our contact channels and improve our service.

Consent to be contacted about your enquiry is separate from consent to receive marketing or promotional messages. We will not send promotional messages unless you separately opt in. You can withdraw that opt-in at any time by replying STOP or writing to us.

6. Who receives your information

Your information is used by our own service team. We do not sell personal information. We may share limited information only with service providers who support us, such as a hosting provider, an email delivery provider or a business phone system, and who are required to protect it. We may also disclose information where required by law, a valid court order or a competent authority.

We do not share your details with banks for marketing purposes, and we do not transmit your identity documents to banks unless you have provided them directly and explicitly authorised the transmission in writing.

7. How long we keep it

Enquiry records are retained for [confirm retention period, e.g. 12 months] after the enquiry is closed, for record-keeping, service quality, complaint handling and legal compliance. After that period, records are deleted or anonymised. If a commercial relationship begins, records relating to it are retained for the period required by applicable tax and accounting rules.

8. Security practices

Enquiries are transmitted over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, stored in access- controlled records, and visible only to staff who need them to respond. We use spam protection, server-side validation and rate limiting on the enquiry form. No method of transmission or storage is completely risk-free, so we encourage you to send only the details listed in section 2 and never send sensitive banking credentials.

9. Your rights and choices

Subject to applicable law, you may:

  • Ask what information we hold about you and request a copy.
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate information.
  • Ask us to delete information we no longer need to retain.
  • Withdraw consent for marketing messages.
  • Ask us to stop contacting you about an enquiry.

We may need to verify your identity before acting on such a request, and we may retain certain records where we are required to do so by law.

10. Raising a privacy concern

Write to info@trivartha.com with the subject line "Privacy request". If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate the matter to the relevant data protection authority. Our postal address for written correspondence is [business address to be added].
